Humility & Awakening
To be a teacher in the spiritual community, there are a number of criteria that must be met, to say, pass the initiation. Some of these criteria are that the teacher/healer must know and have experienced what the darkness of humanity is like, they must walk their talk, they must not be in a mindset of ego and that a teacher must be very careful of where they get their information from.
The teacher is there to teach the truth, to teach empowerment and help people to connect to their own truth.
The awakening process comes with humility, it comes with a feeling of not knowing, it comes with realising that you do not know anything but you have a desperate need to learn or we should say remember because no soul is without wisdom. However, many are cloaked from their own wisdom and so the ego-driven are really just asleep as those who are not on any sort of spiritual path. The only difference between the two is that those attempting to walk the path with their eyes closed can awaken, they are actually closer than you might think.
The person must be willing to do the time, put in the work and be willing to change, be open to admitting that they are wrong or that their teachers were wrong and in some cases be open to the idea that they are, as all the rest, humble and with this humility, opens a floodgate of awareness.
It is the laying the ego aside, the ego always has to know, has to be right, but when you admit that you do not know, in that moment of humility, you become connected to the perceived separation that the ego feeds off of, dissolved and you merge with the all once more.
In my own experience over the past year, many people have been connected and clung on to the idea of being in a past life, there are many people posting about being star seeds, going on about which planetary system that they are from rather than living in the now, that they live in the past. The idea of past lives can get very ego-driven and whilst it is important to know whom you were and often needed in order to heal in the present, there can be a more ego-based desire to know. Identity is absolutely ego-driven, the need to be special and different, the truth is that each soul is special and unique, so people do not need to try so hard but instead just be themselves. Once they do this, they will then be delighted and if they aren’t, if it is their truth, then it is ok. If it is coming from their heart but most people, well many people are not connected to their hearts, let alone their souls.
I once used to think that being from another planetary system meant that I was special but it means absolutely nothing. It gives an explanation as to why things do not feel as comfortable as other soul memories that I have, yet it doesn’t matter in this lifetime. The only thing that matters in this lifetime is to step away from knowing, stepping into the notion of ‘not knowing’ and aligning myself with my own soul knowledge.
This is why I’ve seen this, in order to write about it, to observe it and practice not doing it in order to teach others.
This also relates to the latest teachings channelled through Rebecca Dawson from Master Kuthumi titled “Fragmenting Our Identities” where we step into the doorway of not knowing. Where it is only possible to get through the doorway by shedding our identity or as Amy puts it, the ego-mind.
