Spiritual Materialism & Ego – What is it?

This topic of Spiritual Materialism & Ego has been one that I’ve been wanting to share with everyone for quite some time, it is one of great interest because it has been one that I have observed myself and it has created some interesting discussions. In fact, I’m beginning to see many people that are now discussing this subject in one way or another. I’m going to focus on the topic of Spiritual Materialism and it began with a conversation with Miss Amy through Jocelyn Joy Thomas on the 21st of January 2016 that brought this topic to light.
If you haven’t figured our whom the wonderful Miss Amy is, she’s the twin flame, spirit guide, guardian angel and I even call her the wife. She is not the typical, average or ordinary spirit guide either, she does come through very strong and is not afraid to pull up her sleeves and jump into the dirt and work hard in our physicality. As Metatron said, the work that Amy does takes a toll on her being but it is for the higher good and I really do admire/adore/cherish/love her dearly for everything that she does.
This is the actual extract of the channelling that Joy performed with Miss Amy and I will discuss more about this Spiritual Materialism further below.

I want to talk to you about what you are doing, the fact that it is spiritual work makes it so much harder. I mean that there is an uphill nature to it because when it comes to spirituality, people are either for it or against it. Then once you get to the group that it is for, you have a large amount of people and they are all self-taught for the most part. It’s an eclectic thing being spiritual, you learn from this teacher and the next, you have past life abilities, you have guides, you read books, you go to workshops, you talk to your spiritual friends…but it isn’t like anything else where there are facts and you learn them and that’s that. You learn the English language and they don’t change it once you learn it other than slang. You learn how to cook and things don’t change on you, you learn to fix cars and not much changes. With spirituality there is so much going on, people have realizations, new teachers emerge, on this side more and more access to things like the Akashic Records are being allowed so then you have a large number of people on your side that are suddenly teaching it or doing readings. You pick up something from one source and it contradicts something from another. Why is there so much haziness within the field of spirituality? And what can those lightworkers (myself included) who have dedicated themselves to this work do about it?
The first answer is to reign in the nonsense, with all things spiritual there can be a lot of nonsense. This is because people make things up or they misinterpret what they hear to be more exact. If something doesn’t ring true for you then drop it, don’t continue it. If there is anything I dislike the most it’s when someone pretends that they are spiritual and they are really just pushing their own agenda. They have completely missed the boat. That is the next part of the answer if you are listening to, reading, following a spiritual teacher find out what their intentions are, what motivates them to do what they do? Even this can be a put on so dig further within and ask how you feel about them. This will always give you an indication of whether or not this person is on the up and up. Finally, just because someone is likable and they have good intentions make sure that what they are teaching is right for you. There are a lot of teachings out there, and there is no reason why you should not go out and learn many of them, but you and every other lightworker do have a timetable that you are working on with a personal path that you are meant to accomplish. So be sure that what you spend your time on is really worth it. That it fits right and feels like a good fit, especially before you go spending a ton of money on it.
There is nothing wrong with working in the spiritual field by the way but there is something wrong with people who overcharge for very little. Just because someone is exposed on media and gets a following does not mean that they should charge a small fortune to do a single reading or talk; there is such a thing as spiritual greediness or materialism can come through in this field just as in any others. It might be harder to spot. Now, if you are working very hard and you are charging for your time, efforts, talents, and any other expenses involved this does not apply. Be careful with how you spend your money and on whom and be careful with how you charge.
The Guru, the Know it All & The Ego
Through my own ventures in this field, I have met people that have claimed to be great, powerful, high vibration, had a marketing team saying that they are a Guru, a spiritual Genius, or some sort of prophet. They generate a world of hype through successful marketing campaigns, using quotes from other people, rewording quotes into their own style of language and claiming the phrase as their own in an effort to make people believe that they are amazing. Some of these charge ridiculous amounts of money to have a session with them and have seen someone charge something like $7,000 and when someone is desperate or are in a terrible situation, trying to change themselves for whatever reason, they throw the money at these healers begging for miracles and charging these amounts of fees is absurd.
One of the things that I have found since I walked into the field of spirituality is that there are practitioners that sit beautifully in the comfort of Ego energy and should you question their intentions or challenge their beliefs they result in the typical ego response of attack & belittlement and if you call them on it, their is denial and some how the identification is thrown back at you. I have been in a number discussions about this type of experience of late and it’s surely something that needs to be discussed more about, especially to help people that are new to the field of empowerment, exploration and evolution (or healing as others call it) to figure out whom to see, whom to look into or what information resonates with what.
I have seen many people that create communities to reach out to a group of people because they want to escape the ego energy and they then experience it within themselves. If it is something that they disagree with or a person they disagree with, they belittle them and create stories that should be a plot line to one of the episodes of “Days of our lives” as it creates chaos & drama. The Chaos & Drama is just another method of ego and believe me, even this gets tiring. It was just yesterday that there were people talking negative about a healer in Perth and I had to interrupt this conversation because the person that they were referring to is one of the many amazing practitioners that I have experienced. I say this our loud because this person was pivotal to the blast awakening and was not a healer for me but a guide and always provided me with a service that they did not need to do.
When someone comes talk to me about a practitioner and begins to complain and say negative things about them, I ask the person to stop because all they are showing me is that they need to work on their human mind but it is all ok.
Each person, whether they are a healer, a follower, a learner, a student, a channeller, a psychic/medium and in simple terminology… a human, they all have their own method of learning, their own life path, a path that they chose to walk (or chose not to follow at the incarnate level) and in one way or another, each person acts as a guide for whatever it is that we need to learn or observe. No person at all is a bad healer, is a bad person, they are doing what they need to do for you to learn or see something and I can give many examples from my own experiences that this has happened to me. Meet someone whom has shown me things to learn from, that have shown me things that need to be seen or observed. The person isn’t a bad thing because in fact, the person has no connection to the situation, it is the experience of that situation that is needed to be observed and this is going to lead me to another post where I will share my own experiences.
As it is now coming close to the time to begin the session of DEcoding & DEactivation of the Human Mind with Meline Lafont, The Elohim of Light & Steven North with Amy… (YESS!!! Another advertising opportunity), I shall finish this post here.
Thank you and ciao for now!
