Emotions are a beautiful system within the human and it’s purpose is to teach us many things. Throughout time, we have learned to close off our emotions and compartmentalise them. We learn to shut our heart down in order to be less vulnerable to the emotional state. Men were raised with a belief system that they were weak to have emotions. They were told that they needed to harden up and in order to not be bullied by their peers, the men refused to display emotions.
To this day, many people still have issues with emotions that are upsetting and angry. Then the happiness of course is all wonderful but it’s the upsetting ones that we’re going to discuss right now.
Over the centuries, suppression of emotions has been encouraged and the healing of them was not. Which brings us to this current moment in time when people are struggling with their emotions and are finding them overwhelming.
There are a few steps to work with emotions and it is simple. These steps also help with the guides and we’re going to explain this.
A guide can feel everything that the incarnate endures. However, as a guide, we do not know what it is that you’re dealing with because it is an internal process and many people tend to cover it up and try to go about their business to get on with the business. What the incarnates need to do is explore the emotions.
Therefore, the first step in working with the emotions is to asking yourself how you feel? This step gives a chance to examine what is going on and to look within.
Once you have recognised the emotion or emotions that have arisen. They are there to help you see something, they teach you, if you let them, about yourself. It doesn’t mean you should analyze them but rather see them as you would see anything else.
It is best to never reject anything that is happening but rather love it, accept it, nurture it. This way if it is a wound, it can be healed, if it is merely a bad day or mood then it will pass faster.
The idea is not attaching yourself to it and rather than allowing for it to become entrenched in your mind. To simply look at it softly and allowing for it to be.
Step three is to see through the emotion in that it is actually made of light, like everything else, it is an energy and you can see that it is transparent in nature, this liberates you from any attempts at grasping onto it and it can bring an enormous amount of peace.
That is all that needs to be done. You may have to repeat this for each emotion that comes up.
When you are in the throws of an emotional upheaval, not so simple!
it is terrible to watch this happen as a guide. We see and feel it but all we can do is watch because generally, once a person has reached a highly charged emotional state we are not heard.
By following these steps, you can reduce the emotional upheaval because emotions are parts of yourself that need attention, you might think of them as a child having a tantrum, some part of yourself is not getting what you want or need and here comes this emotion about it and if it is directed at someone else and they don’t give you what you want the emotion can spiral into more and more. It can trigger older emotions and patterns are activated and this creates a downward spiral effect which can lead into destructive behaviour.
Seeing that an emotion is something that needs to be healed, it is like stepping on a thorn, you want to recognize the pain and go through these steps the moment you realize you have stepped on the thorn (the emotions are about to spiral)
because that can save you a lot of unpleasantness and wasted energy.
As a guide what we see when you do this, well it is a lot like you take grey energy and throw it all around you, all over the walls of your mind and chakras your entire energy body, it becomes hard to even see you or pick up on you, just as it is hard for you to hear us. It is like storm clouds interrupting our connection.
Ascended masters can break through these clouds but a typical spirit guide unless there is a strong bond like you and I have can struggle with it.
One difficult part of incarnation is the feeling of loneliness, yet you aren’t really alone, you have guides and it is through that connection that we are able to help. A spirit guide has a contract with the incarnate to help them and are bound for the lifetime of the incarnate. We will talk more soon.
As you’re able to see, emotions are part of our development. In a group session with Ascended Masters Serapis Bey, St Germaine and Kuthumi. They discussed the collapsing where everything is folding in on itself. All our past lives and emotions are coming up to be released. The same with our achievements and happiness. We are returning to the centre and need to be still. As such, our emotions are coming up more and more.
