Throughout life, we cross an array of different emotions and these can range from happiness, love, passion, excitement as well the not so nice ones to experience which is the emotion of pain, loss, grief, hardship and death. One day these emotions can be fuelling our passion to achieve greatness and then the next, they can be leaving us in a world of despair.

This song that was written by Steven North in July of 2014, during a time when the emotions running through him were very strong and they needed to be written into music. He went straight to the piano and began putting together this piece of contemporary music.

Thus the song Burning Hearts is about the emotion of loss from love, a deep love which can be a very painful experience and one that takes some time to heal, whether it is through death, relationships ending or hardships, the burden that sits within the heart & soul is strong and weighted. Every person experiences the isolation of feeling such loss this song by Steven North captures the raw essence and power of the sadness that is felt.
